Lord shiva's katha (story)

Lord Shiva is the third god in the Hindu triumvirate. The triumvirate consists of three gods who are responsible for the creation. Shiva is also known as the “auspicious one”. Lord Shiva has many forms such as Natarajah, Mahadev, Ardhanarishvara, and Bhairava however there are many more. Lord  Shiva is formless, limitless, transcendent and unchanging absolute and the primal Atman (soul, self) of the universe. Vasuki is a part of shiva

An example is Lord Shiva. He has Vasuki around his neck. Vasuki is a part of the ‘Samudra Manthan’, the churning of the ocean of milk. In the legend, devas and Rakshasas were engaged in the churning of the sea in search of nectar to be immortal. Vasuki allowed the devas and rakshasas to use him as a rope to extract the ambrosia of immortality (Amarut)
